Dear Rod cc: Friends & Relatives
Many thanks for inviting Betty and myself to your 70th birthday bash which was just fantastic.
What a wonderful party shared with your family, relatives and friends besides all the musicians who attended, and above all at such a lovely venue - 'Royal British Legion Worcester Park' which is certainly the best social club in Surrey.
The wine was certainly flowing besides all the lovely food prepared by BL Worcester Park which was most enjoyable.
The night certainly moved quickly with the very talented magician Matt Parro providing great table magic (thanks to Mark Read for introducing such talent which we all enjoyed), and with live entertainment provided by the one and only 'DIAMOND' made it a night to remember. Rod your old band members certainly did you proud.
Pam as always made sure all guests were looked after, topped up with drinks and certainly socialisted with everyone.
Of course the other lovely vocalists who performed added to the mixture of entertainment and Rod, your speech followed by your son was the highlight of the night. You certainly have very good memories of the past with all the great musicians you have played with.
As a token of rememberance I have added a few photographs and video clips to this blogspot and would appreciate if your friends who attended the party would kindly send me their photographs to add to this blog. My email to forward photos is bennydesouza@btinternet.com
